SILVER CLAY JEWELLERY ARTIST
Rachel Harding
Hi, I’m Rachel! I'm the maker behind Rachel Leigh Jewellery and I am a qualified silver clay jewellery artist. I work predominantly with silver clay, designing and making delicate pieces in fine silver, but I also incorporate lost wax casting and pre-formed sterling silver elements to create beautiful pieces of jewellery.
I handcraft my jewellery in my dedicated workshop in Berkshire and I take my inspiration from the simple pleasures found in nature: delicate leaves, organic textures, flowers, birds, bees and the quiet beauty found outdoors. Each piece I make is designed to be simple, meaningful and wearable every day — a small reminder to keep nature close.
As a mum of four, a wife, an introvert and someone who deeply values mental wellbeing, I’ve always found comfort in nature. Whether it’s a walk through the woods, time spent in the garden, or simply noticing the details around us, nature has a way of grounding and restoring us, especially during difficult seasons of life.
Each piece of jewellery I make is carefully handcrafted with intention and attention to detail. I love designing and creating beautiful pieces of jewellery, designed to hold personal meaning and be treasured for years to come.
My hope is that the pieces I make become more than jewellery and that they also serve as gentle reminders to slow down, breathe deeply, and stay connected to the beauty of the world around us.
I hold the highly regarded Art Clay Diplomas (Levels 1 and 2) and have completed the Jewellers Academy Diploma in Silver Metal Clay.
